Got all that? This week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” was a special one for Global Force Wrestling as it was the closest thing they would have to a pay per view until “Bound For Glory 2017”. Tonight was Destination X and in company tradition, several major names made their returns, along with a few debuts and some departures. We have you covered on everything that happened in one list.

This week’s show saw the following names return:

Taryn Terrell (First appearance since “Bound For Glory 2016”, cost Gail Kim a match)
Jim Cornette (First appearance since September 2009, new on-screen authority figure, fired Bruce Prichard)
Petey Williams (First appearance since August 2014, helped Sonjay Dutt retain the X-Division Title)

Here are some comments from Cornette after the show:

The following names debuted:

OVE (Ohio vs. Everyone, a tag team also known as the Irish Airborne and the Crist Brothers)
Johnny Impact (Also known as John Morrison/Johnny Mundo, appeared in a video package to end the show, making debut next week)

The following names seem to have left:

Bruce Prichard (Fired by Cornette)
D’Angelo Dinero (Not on commentary and announced his departure from the company on his Instagram)

Opinion: This is quite the change of pace for the company, though there’s no word on how many of these changes are permanent, on a short term basis or just a one off change. I’m happy with Cornette being back but some of the other names do very little for me. Impact debuting could be a big coup as he’s a top independent star, though that’s been the case before and nothing has come of it. Hopefully this one is different.
