Some people are just nice. There are a lot of things going on in WWE and some of them are a little more popular than others. With so many wrestlers and so many shows going on at the same time, the fans are likely going to get a little tired of trying to keep up with everything. A lot of the fans do not seem to be overly thrilled with things at the moment, so a nice moment could offer a little bit of a relief. It turns out that there is a feel good story in wrestling and it isn’t even that surprised.
On this week’s episode of SmackDown, Hulk Hogan announced that Ali would be added to Team Hogan in the upcoming ten man tag match at Crown Jewel. These shows have been controversial since their inception last year, partially due to the human rights issues in Saudi Arabia. However, Ali has announced on his Twitter that he will be donating his pay for the show to Charity: Water, a charity designed to provide fresh water to poor people around the world. Ali did the same thing with his pay from Super ShowDown in June.
To clarify some reports, my earnings from the 10/31 event will be donated to @charitywater.

Ali comes off as a good guy. Check out what he can do in the ring as well:
Opinion: This is something that is just cool and fits well with Ali’s idea of being a shining light. Yes Ali is wrestling on the controversial card but he isn’t profiting on it, which isn’t something a lot of people are going to do. It gets attention on the charity and given the amount of money that WWE is making off of the show, it might pressure them to make a sizable donation of their own. It is a nice thing to do and helps people who need some help. You don’t see that too often in wrestling and the fact that it is Ali doesn’t surprise me whatsoever.
Do you like Ali? Will WWE make any donation of their own to this or another charity? Let us know in the comments below.
