That’s a bad one. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and some of them can be very serious. You never know when something is going to build up over time to the point where nothing else but surgery is going to fix the problem. That is the case again with a former WWE World Champion, as he has announced that he was forced to undergo some major surgery.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Braun Strowman was injured and not planned into any sort of WWE creative in the near future. Strowman, 39, has announced on Instagram that he has undergone neck fusion surgery in Birmingham, Alabama. There was no word on what caused the injury or how long Strowman will be out of action, though Strowman said it will “take a little bit of time to heal from.” Strowman’s most recent match took place on May 1.
There is a lot here. Check out the announcement, plus Strowman in better days:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is going to happen at some point and unfortunately there is very little that can be done about it. Strowman is still one of the bigger stars in WWE and he is someone who can be a big deal if he is given a chance. At the end of the day though, this is going to keep him on the shelf for a rather long time and there isn’t much that can be done now but wait.
What do you think of Strowman? How can he be best used in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
