Not so fast my friends? Late last year, WWE decided to shake things up. There were a lot of things going wrong on almost all sides of WWE and it was clear that something had to change. One of those things was bringing back some talents who had been off of television for a long time, which was the case with two names. As it turns out though, it might be a little later rather than sooner.

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens might not make their returns until February. The due was announced as returning to WWE “soon” on the December 17, 2018 edition of Monday Night Raw. There was no date given for their returns at the time. The speculation is that the announcements were made for the sake of drumming up interest rather than an actual return.

Maybe they can fight together again. Check out how well it worked before:

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn unleash a brutal assault on Daniel Bryan: SmackDown LIVE, March 20, 2018

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised by the returns not being immediate, as it wouldn’t make sense to have people off with such serious injuries back on television so soon. You also don’t want to have them come back too soon and risk them getting injured all over again. There’s a good chance that the two will be back in the Royal Rumble for a quick appearance, but hopefully they’re healthy enough to stick around permanently.

Which return are you looking forward to more? Who will be more successful in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
