Injured Monday Night Raw Star May Return At Royal Rumble

There’s a chance. An injury is one of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler, especially if they have something going on. Someone can be taken out of the ring in the middle of a big story and have everything derailed in the blink of an eye. Unfortunately that was the case back in December, but now we might have an opening for a return in just a few days.

We are less than two days away from the Royal Rumble and that means there are likely to be quite a few surprise returns coming up on the show. With so many spots available, there are going to be some names who pop up after being gone for a little while. This could include a certain injured Monday Night Raw star who was taken off television during the middle of a big story.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a good chance that Lana could be ready to return to the ring at the Royal Rumble this weekend. Lana has been out of action with an ankle injury for about six weeks, which was the expected amount of time that she would be out of action. Should she return, there is a chance that she would eliminate Nia Jax and reignite their feud.

Opinion: This shouldn’t come as the biggest surprise as it makes sense to have someone make a return like this at a major match. It could be interesting to see how Lana is presented, as she did beat Jax in her last match before taking time off. That being said, I’m not sure if that is going to be enough to make her into a new top star to do anything other than eliminate Jax from the Rumble.
