Change it up a little. Even though it seems like they have been around for a long time now, AEW Dynamite has only run for two weeks so far. The company has hit the ground running like almost nothing else ever has and it is already getting things better. With a company that is going as fast as it does, it is time that they add a few times and that is going to be the case on next week’s show.
On Friday, AEW announced that next Wednesday’s AEW World Title match between Champion Chris Jericho and Darby Allin will now be a street fight. The stipulation was added after Jericho issued a challenge via Twitter and Allin accepted. This will be Jericho’s first title defense after winning the title at All Out. The winner of this match will move on to defend against Cody at Full Gear on November 9.
Jericho had something to say, as usual. Check out Jericho’s challenge and Allin’s response:

Opinion: I’m not sure I get this one as Allin is someone who should thrive in a street fight, but he’s likely to lose here as I can’t imagine AEW is going to be changing the World Title here. The match should be fun though as Allin has been a breakout star on the show so far and will give it his all. You can imagine the Inner Circle interfering though, which is exactly the point of something like this.
