History Has Been Made! Title Change Takes Place On Monday Night Raw.

History has been made! There are a lot of titles in WWE and that means that there are going to be a lot of title defenses. That makes sense in theory at least, but a lot of the time those title defenses only take place on pay per view. There are some that take place during a regular television show, and every now and then you will see a title change on TV. That was the case this week.

During this week’s Monday Night Raw, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross won the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Bliss and Cross defeated defending champions the IIconics, Fire and Desire and the Kabuki Warriors, last eliminating the Warriors to win the titles. This is the first reign for both Bliss and Cross and the third reign in the titles’ history, which only dates back to February.

Opinion: After the way the titles have been used for the last four months, it was long overdue to get them off of the IIconics. They barely defended the things and the titles have mostly been forgotten for weeks, if not months, on end. At least Bliss and Cross are on television more often than not so maybe they can elevate the titles, at least a little bit. It’s not like they can get much worse.
