It’s a solution. WWE has some scheduling issues to deal with as they are coming up not only on the change over of SmackDown Live to Friday, but also the latest Saudi Arabia show. The latter seems to be a much higher priority and is the kind of thing that requires a lot of effort given how the schedule works. WWE was having a problem with the upcoming show, but now things may have been solved.
According to PWInsider Elite by way of 411mania.com, this year’s Crown Jewel event will be held on Thursday, October 31. This will mark the first time that a Saudi Arabia show will air on any day other than Friday. The change also allows for the roster to be back in America for the SmackDown Live show on Friday. There is no word on if this is a one off change or if Thursday will be the new date for the show.
Crown Jewel was a big deal last year. Check out the results of the show:
Opinion: That’s probably the best thing that they could do, though I’m almost scared to imagine how jet lagged everyone is going to be for that Friday show. The Saudi Arabia shows are a borderline nuisance for the fans though I can understand why WWE is so obsessed with airing them. They have a lot more of them in the future, but hopefully this one is a little bit better.
Does this solution make sense? Will the show be better? Let us know in the comments below.
