That’s some interesting thinking. Roman Reigns has taken SmackDown by storm and there does not seem to be anything slowing him down in the near future. Not only has he become Universal Champion again, but he has also shown almost no weaknesses during his title reign. That could be a sign that he is going to be holding the title for a very long time and that very well may be the case.

One of the biggest questions about Reigns is who could possibly take the title from him. Not only is he the dominant champion, but there really are not very many people on SmackDown who are on his level. There are some former World Champions on the show, but that does not mean they are going to be major threats to the title. It turns out that WWE sees things in a similar way.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is not making long term plans for Reigns as champion. His Survivor Series opponent is already set and the match against Randy Orton is already non-title. Also, his two major contenders, Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan, were recently defeated by Jey Uso in decisive fashion, leaving little reason to believe that either are ready for Reigns. It is not clear when Reigns will defend the title again or whom he will face.

Reigns has been awesome as champion. Check out what he has done so far:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised at this as it isn’t like there is anyone ready to face Reigns in the first place. That makes him seem like a much stronger champion as well, as it isn’t just that he is at the top of the show, but he is miles ahead of almost everyone else. You don’t get to see that very often and Reigns has been knocking it out of the park so far. Well done and keep it up.
