He’s worth it. We are in the middle of WWE’s Thirty Years Of The Dead Man celebration of the Undertaker’s career in the company. That makes for some very interesting moments and tributes, many of which are not even directly involving Undertaker. WWE is also looking at the various people involved with his career, and one of them is getting a special tribute from Undertaker himself.

When Undertaker debuted back in 1990, he was managed by Brother Love in a partnership that has mainly been forgotten. Undertaker would soon join forces with Paul Bearer in a team that would last on and off for decades. Bearer would pass away back in 2013 and be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame the following year. WWE is looking back at him as well, and Undertaker is joining them.

On Sunday night, a documentary on Bearer, called The Mortician, aired on the WWE Network and chronicled both his career as well as his partnership with Undertaker. Before the special aired, Undertaker tweeted out a tribute to Bearer, calling him a great friend and person, as well as a part of what made the Undertaker character so successful. Bearer and Undertaker worked together on and off from 1990 until 2004.

It was a team that worked. Check out the trailer for the film as well as some of Undertaker and Bearer’s time together:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you don’t get to see from Undertaker every day. One of the best things about Undertaker is the fact that he has been silent for such a long stretch of his career, meaning that the moments when he speaks mean a lot more. Undertaker and Bearer were a great team together and it is nice to see WWE acknowledging that success.

What do you think of the team? Who worked best with Undertaker? Let us know in the comments below.
