The Big Dog comes after the lights go out. This week’s show was a different kind of “Monday Night Raw” with Roman Reigns notably absent from the night’s proceedings. While a Reigns appearance was promised next week, those who tuned in this week didn’t get to see him. Those who were in attendance however did.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, Reigns appeared in the post show dark match, facing and defeating Bray Wyatt. Reigns is already advertised for next week’s show where he will be announcing his plans for “Summerslam 2017”. Wyatt appeared earlier on the show in a talking segment with Seth Rollins.
Opinion: I actually liked an episode of “Monday Night Raw” without Reigns appearing. He’s been around for so long now that sometimes it’s nice to not have him around for once. I’m sure Reigns will be back next week and be near the main event again, but it was nice to not have him around for a change.
