It’s never too early to start planning ahead. We’re just over a month removed from WrestleMania 35 where Becky Lynch took over the women’s division by winning both Women’s Titles in a triple threat match. The win turned her into an even bigger star than she already was and all but guaranteed her a major spot at WrestleMania 36. So what might be in the cards for her?
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lynch is scheduled to have a big time match at WrestleMania 36, but her opponent has yet to be named. At this point, the opponent has not been named but it will NOT be Stephanie McMahon, Charlotte or Ronda Rousey, though if Rousey wants to come back and take the spot, it would be hers immediately.
So this won’t be WrestleMania. Check out Lynch attacking McMahon as only she can make work:
Opinion: That scares me about what WWE has left as options. Barring a legend coming in, it means that someone is going to have to be elevated in a big way over the next eleven months. That being said, I would expect it to be one of those three, as they are much bigger stars than the rest of the possible opponents for Lynch. Hopefully she gets to stay charged up as well over the rest of the year, because it could be a big mess otherwise.
Who do you think Lynch will face? Will she still be the champion by then? Let us know in the comments below.
