Once in a lifetime (seriously this time). Back in 2012, John Cena and the Rock met in probably the biggest match of the modern era. It was built up for a year and felt like a match that I needed to see. However, there was another match during the build, which saw the two of them put together for a one off appearance.

WWE has posted the full version of Cena/Rock vs. The Miz/R-Truth (collectively known as Awesome Truth) from “Survivor Series 2011”. This match was set up after Cena was allowed to choose any partner he wanted to face the team. However, the match was spoiled during a pay per view ad, which made the whole announcement a bit of a disappointment. Still though, it was a big match and a huge moment.

FULL MATCH - The Rock & John Cena vs R-Truth & The Miz: Survivor Series 2011 (WWE Network Exclusive)

Opinion: I’m still not sure why this match too place. One of the biggest appeals to Rock vs. Cena was Rock not wrestling in eight years. Now it’s more like five months, though to be fair it’s not like it really hurt anything. It’s kind of a shame that Awesome Truth got beaten down this badly, but at least the moment felt big.
