That’s how to restock the shelves. With the new TNA management taking the place of the Dixie Carter regime, it’s pretty clear that TNA is going to need to bring in some fresh talent. New boss Jeff Jarrett seems to be doing exactly that and has reached out to a former World Champion about a possible return to the company.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by way of 411mania.com,
TNA has reached out to Magnus to return to the promotion. Magnus left TNA in 2015 and went on to become the first and so far only Global Force Wrestling Global Champion, which he has held since October 2015. The deal is not finalized but both sides seem very interested in reaching an agreement.
Opinion: Magnus is an interesting case as he has all the tools to be a great star but there’s just something missing. There isn’t exactly a great charisma there and I’m not sure how big of a deal it would be to have him back. He’ll be a fine hand in the ring but that doesn’t mean he’s going to be someone that is going to carry a promotion.
