They’re not making quite the same impact. This week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” featured Eddie Edwards getting his final shot at TNA World Champion Bobby Lashley. Edwards had the title won when his partner Davey Richards turned on him to end the show. If you didn’t see that happen, it seems that you’re not alone.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, this week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” drew 252,000 viewers, down 16% from the previous week’s show, which featured the Open Fight Night concept. This is the third straight week that “Impact Wrestling’s” viewership has gone down and by far the biggest drop during that span. The show was not in the top 150 cable TV shows for the week.

I can’t say I’m really surprised by this. At the end of the day, “Impact Wrestling” has felt like its been going through the motions for a long time now. The stories have felt repetitive and the wrestling is acceptable but rarely anything worth going out of your way to see. Lashley vs. Edwards has been done to death and I don’t see Edwards vs. Richards being that much better.
