That’s quite the impact. Last night’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” was a fallout episode focusing on Davey Richards vs. Eddie Edwards, whose Wolves tag team split up the previous week. The show hasn’t had the best viewership in recent weeks so this show needed to do some better numbers. Just how did the show with the new focus do?

According to Wrestlinginc.com, this week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” drew 325,000 viewers, which is up a staggering 28% over the previous week’s 252,000 viewers. This is also the show’s best viewership this year and saw a return to the cable’s top 150 rankings, coming in at #122.

Opinion: Well that’s good. Last night’s show wasn’t the most thrilling one in the world but there was definitely a different feel to it with the focus being on the street fight but also a pair of parties. The interesting thing will be starting on the March 2 show which will be under the entirely new creative direction. Either way, at least this was a good result for a week and that’s a positive at the moment.
