Sometimes the venue beats you to it. With about two weeks to go before “Fastlane 2017”, we don’t really know much about the card. So far there are three matches announced to date and that means over half of the card is still to be announced. It seems that the Bradley Center, which is hosting the show, isn’t so patient and might have spoiled another title match.

A new ad posted on the arena’s YouTube channel mentions Sami Zayn challenging Chris Jericho for the United States Title based on Zayn beating Jericho in a recent match.

Zayn received a shot at the title on the most recent “Monday Night Raw” but lost due to interference by Kevin Owens.

This would confirm a recent rumor about the title match being announced, though there’s still a chance a gimmick could be added as well. Here’s the ad:

This is one of those ideas that makes sense and it would be one of the better matches on the card almost by definition. These two had good matches on their own and it would be interesting to see what they could do with a proper build and even more time. There’s always the chance that Zayn could win his first WWE Title as well, which makes things even more appealing.

Who do you think wins the match? Do Jericho and Owens split at the show? Let us know in the comments below.
