“Elimination Chamber” Rematch Announced for “Smackdown Live”

Just in case once wasn’t enough for you. One of the bigger “Smackdown Live” stories over the last few months has been Becky Lynch chasing the Women’s Title. She almost had the title back when a masked woman named La Luchadora interfered and cost her the match. The mask came off to reveal Mickie James and a feud was triggered.

Lynch won the first match between the two at “Elimination Chamber 2017” with a quick rollup but it’s already time for a rematch. According to WWE’s Twitter, Lynch and James will have a rematch on tonight’s episode of “Smackdown Live”. Lynch barely escaped with a win on Sunday as James dominated most of the match, which is likely the reason for the rematch.

The first match was fine enough and the quick finish lets a rematch make sense. If nothing else it could help to set up a new feud for one if not both of them. James is the kind of bulletproof character that isn’t going to be affected by a loss or two and Lynch is just a step behind, especially after winning the first match.
