The next to go down? WWE is a rapidly changing place with its roster undergoing all kinds of changes almost weekly. There are people coming onto the roster and leaving it almost as fast, which is made even more interesting when you factor in NXT. One of the most fascinating parts of watching WWE is seeing when someone comes up to the main roster. But what about the opposite?
This week on NXT, General Manager William Regal announced that former NXT star Apollo Crews will be returning next week to face Kushida. This comes after Killian Dain and Tyler Breeze have both returned to NXT, with their returns seeming to be permanent. At the moment, there is no word on if Crews’ return will be permanent or just for this one single match. Crews has been on the main roster since the night after WrestleMania 32.
You might not remember Crews in NXT. Check him out challenging for the title:
Opinion: This is one of the better things that WWE can do, as there are only so many spots for people on the main roster. Crews hasn’t done anything on either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live, so let him go back down to NXT where he can at least get in the ring. It’s better than nothing, even if he wasn’t the biggest star in NXT in the first place. It’s not like he has anything else to do at the moment.
What do you think of Crews? How will he do down in NXT? Let us know in the comments below.
