It’s a fair enough reason for Zayn. Wrestling is not in a normal place at the moment and it might not be for a long time to come. There isn’t much of a way around that at the moment but the biggest problem continues to be the lack of fans in the seats. Having so few people around changes the entire show, but one show last week was missing someone else entirely for a good reason.
There are some wrestlers who stand out more than others and that will always be the case. If you can talk well enough, someone is going to pay attention to you one way or another. That is the case with Sami Zayn, who finally broke through and won his first main roster championship earlier this year. It was a big deal for him, though now he needed to miss a little time to take care of something.
Zayn sent out a tweet announcing that he had his wisdom teeth removed last week, which caused him to miss last week’s SmackDown. As a result, Zayn mentioned being put on an all pudding diet, which has resulted in him getting into better shape. There is no word on how long Zayn will be out of action or when his next title defense will be taking place. Zayn has been Intercontinental Champion since Elimination Chamber.
In lighter news, I had my wisdom teeth taken out last week so I've been on an #AllPuddingDiet for days and now I'm ripped to shreds.

Zayn has been around for awhile. Check out some of his highlights:
Opinion: This isn’t something that sounds too serious but it’s nice to know that WWE isn’t leaving its Intercontinental Champion off the show for no reason. Zayn is someone who has a lot of potential, though he seems to be fairly banged up at the moment. Maybe the extra rest will help him, as I could see him being a Honky Tonk Man style champion who holds the title for quite a long time.
Do you like Zayn as champion? How long will he hold the title? Let us know in the comments below.
