It couldn’t happen again. Earlier this month, WWE broke tradition by changing almost everything about WrestleMania. The thirty sixth edition of the show was completely different than any before, with the show taking place over two nights and in front of no fans. The changes were necessary due to the Coronavirus, which has changed the wrestling world for the time being. That time being may be longer than expected.

One tradition that was not changed this year was the announcement of the location of next year’s WrestleMania in the first quarter of the year. Back in February, WWE announced that WrestleMania 37 will be taking place at SoFi Stadium near Los Angeles, California. That is if everything continues according to plan, but if that is not the case, WWE is going to need to come up with something new. They might have done just that.

According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, WWE has already began putting together backup plans for WrestleMania 37 in case their current plans fall through. This could be due to the stadium not being completed on time, or the chance that large gatherings are not allowed to take place in California due to the Coronavirus. There is no word on what the other plans might be.

This is something that could be a huge change. Check out what WWE could be ready to do:

Opinion: I’m not sure how this is going to go, but the idea of another WrestleMania taking place in a location like the Performance Center is rather depressing. This year’s show felt like a dress rehearsal instead of the biggest show of the year and doing it again sounds terrible. Hopefully things get better before then, as I’m not sure if WWE, or everyone involved for that matter, can make it otherwise.
