We all go a little mad sometimes. The world is in the middle of a global pandemic and the situation has turned everything upside down. Almost nothing is working as usual and that is the kind of thing that is going to make everyone go a little nuts. That is certainly the case in wrestling, and one of the bigger independent wrestlers in the world is showing how out of it he has become.

If you are a fan of wrestling outside of WWE and AEW (or even if you like the bigger companies as well), odds are you have heard of Rocky Romero. He has wrestled throughout the world, with major stints in Ring of Honor and New Japan. Much like other wrestlers he has been out of work due to the spread of the Coronavirus, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been practicing.

This one has to be seen to be believed. Check out Romero in his….down time:

Romero has released a video of himself in his Chico El Luchador persona, making an entrance in his living room, complete with a curtain, entrance music and diving off of his couch. This takes place with his wife, who he says is working from home, is seated in front of him on his keyboard. Romero last wrestled at a New Japan live event on February 22, 2020.

This kind of thing works rather well. Check out Daniel Bryan and Kane taking wrestling outside of the arena:

Opinion: This is one of those things that can show how ridiculous wrestling looks when you take it out of the arena. That isn’t a bad thing at all and can offer some great comedy in situations like this one. If nothing else, look back at the Bryan and Kane videos. They are some of the funniest things that WWE has done in years because it is a scenario that can work every time, just due to the pure absurdity.

What did you think of the video? Where would you like to see Romero wrestle? Let us know in the comments below.
