Some people are just saints with the heart of a lion. As you may have heard, 90s wrestler Rex King, better known as Timothy Well of the tag team Well Dunn, passed away of kidney failure at the age of 55. Despite appearing on WWE TV for a long stretch of time, King was hardly a major star and apparently his family had some issues paying for the funeral.

A GoFundMe campaign was set up to help his family pay for the expenses which totaled around $2,500. That may sound like a high amount but Chris Jericho paid the entire amount on the first day. Jericho wrote that King was always good to him and hoped that King was at peace. The page has now expanded to a goal of $15,000 for reasons that aren’t clear.

If you’ve ever read his books, Jericho comes off as one of the nicest guys in wrestling. This isn’t the first time that he’s donated to such a campaign as he also donated $3,000 to help Rico Constantino through some health issues. It’s so nice to see someone with the ability to help others out actually doing so and makes me respect Jericho that much more.
