It’s that time again. As we approach “Wrestlemania XXXIII” in Orlando, it’s time for some of the part timers to get in some more ring time. In this case Brock Lesnar is getting back in the ring for one of his first matches after losing to Goldberg at “Survivor Series 2016”. Lesnar wrestled a house show match in Mexico City against Rusev in early December of last year.

According to Madison Square Garden’s Twitter account, Lesnar will be in action at the World’s Most Famous Arena on March 12. No opponent has been announced yet but Lesnar usually faces power wrestlers at house shows, such as Rusev and Sheamus. On the other hand though, he’s also had matches against Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio.

Lesnar at house shows is still a major draw as you can get a few more fans who don’t usually get to see something like this every week. It’s a big deal when he shows up on “Monday Night Raw” to glare at people while Paul Heyman does his thing so it’s an even bigger deal to get to see him in the ring mauling someone for a few minutes. If you can help pop a house crowd, so be it. I mean, WWE made a whole special about Lesnar at MSG so a house show featuring him is a big deal.
