Ask and ye shall receive. With about a month to go before “Survivor Series 2017”, it looks like we’ve got one big match already set for the card. Earlier tonight on “Smackdown Live”, Smackdown World Champion Jinder Mahal challenge Universal Champion Brock Lesnar to face him at the pay per view. Later in the night, we already had our first update.

As announced later on in the show, Lesnar will be on “Monday Night Raw” this coming week to officially respond to Mahal’s challenge. At the moment the match is schedule to be taking place and neither title will be on the line. Lesnar last wrestled at “No Mercy 2017” in a successful title defense against Braun Strowman.

This is what Mahal is getting himself into.

Opinion: If this is the match we have to sit through, so be it I guess. I’m really not wild on wasting one of Lesnar’s rare appearances on Mahal, who doesn’t seem to have much hope for getting over in this current role. However, he’s going to be champion going into the tour of India in December and this is likely a way to help boost his status.
