So much for that one. After weeks of legal issues, Billy Corgan has officially announced an official settlement with TNA and Anthem. While the official terms have not been announced and likely never will be, Corgan was owed $1.8 million in repayment of loans to fund TNA tapings from earlier in the year.

Corgan also mentioned giving some interviews to fill in a few gaps though the details still aren’t entirely clear. He went on to praise TNA’s roster and backstage crew for all their hard work and wished them the best. This seems to wrap up Corgan’s association with TNA, meaning we’re basically back where we were earlier in the year, albeit with TNA having additional funding from Anthem.

I feel sorry for Corgan. Basically he went in, gave TNA money, got to be the boss for all of a month or two, and was then stuck in a bunch of legal issues when he dared to ask for something on his investment. TNA still seems to be a disaster and it’s kind of a shame that someone who wanted to help them was basically told to get out for daring to challenge the horrible status quo.

What are your thoughts on Corgan’s time in TNA? Where would you like to see them go from here? Let us know in the comments below.
