Why are you here? There are so many wrestlers on the WWE roster that you can often forget who all is around the company. This can cause quite the problem as sometimes you are not going to be seeing a talented wrestler for a long time as there just might not be something for them to do. That was not the case this week and now we know why someone made an appearance.
One of the bigger stories coming out of the last few weeks has been Bad Bunny appearing fairly regularly on WWE television. Bunny is one of the bigger stars in music at the moment and is someone who could bring a lot of extra eyes to WWE just by being around. At the same time, he is giving a rub to Damien Priest, who only recently made his main roster debut. Priest has been handling the wrestling, and now we know why he got a certain win.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Priest defeated Angel Garza this week on Monday Night Raw because WWE did not want Miz and John Morrison losing again. Garza came to the ring with Miz and Morrison before losing to Priest, including some involvement from Bunny. There is no word on if Garza will be appearing regularly on the show, or if he will be associated with Miz and Morrison going forward.
It was an interesting way to go. Check out how the match went down:
Opinion: I could go for more of Garza on television and hopefully it is in a better role than as Miz and Morrison’s lackey. I’m not exactly sure how well the story is going to go, but a Miz/Morrison vs. Bunny/Priest tag match at WrestleMania 37 would not quite surprise me. Hopefully WWE can come up with something a little better for Garza, but one appearance is better than nothing.
