Things got serious. Wrestlers are interesting cases as you don’t know what you might get from them at any given point. Sometimes they are going to get along just fine while other times they will go off, just like any regular person. At the same time though, there is always the chance that something they are saying is part of a storyline, which might have been what happened with a recent heated exchange.
WWE’s Shotzi and Liv Morgan recently went back and forth on Twitter, arguing before their scheduled match on this week’s SmackDown. Shotzi, who has since deleted her Twitter account (by way of 411mania.com), suggested that Morgan was faking her arm injury. Morgan sent her an image of “The Insecure Girl’s Handbook”, so Shotzi asked if that is what Morgan read after she got Ruby Riott (now known as Ruby Soho in AEW) fired. Morgan then tweeted a picture of Riott, calling her “the superior green-haired tattooed girl”. Shotzi would lose to Morgan on SmackDown. It is not clear if this is part of a storyline or an actual issue between the two.

Opinion: This is an interesting exchange, as it is something that got more than a bit serious in a hurry. I’m not sure how much intrigue it would add to their match, which was little more than a short television match. Morgan getting a win was a good thing and I can appreciate the attempt to make it bigger, but this was kind of a weird way to get things set up.
