Hopefully it isn’t bad. There are various kinds of wrestling that you will see come up in almost any promotion. You can probably think of more than a few of them, and one of the most interesting is a power match. Having two, or occasionally more, big, strong people beating the heck out of each other can be very entertaining, but this time around it might have left someone on the injured list.
This week on Monday Night Raw, MVP mentioned that Braun Strowman suffered broken ribs during the triple threat match for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania Backlash. There is no word on if the injury is legitimate or an angle of some kind. Strowman competed in the match along with Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley, ultimately being pinned by Lashley but did not appear on Monday Night Raw.
It was a brutal match. Check out the match and what a healthy Strowman can do:
Opinion: I’m curious to know if this is a legitimate injury or not, but either way I’m hoping that Strowman is back soon. His health is what matters most, but if he is healthy, staying off of television for a bit might help him somewhat. Strowman is the kind of wrestler who often works best in short, smaller doses and having him in the WWE Title scene can burn up a lot of his positives.
Strowman is someone who can do a lot of good things for WWE, as his power is not something you can imitate and he seems to have a pretty strong following. Granted that is not quite something you can capitalize on with no fans in the building. Strowman could get a lot further when the crowds are back, though you never can tell how well someone is going to do with that big of a change.
What do you think of Strowman? How can WWE use him best? Let us know in the comments below.
