It’s not just WWE. Injuries are something that happens to everyone in wrestling, no matter where you work or what you do. Some people just get hurt more often than others and there is no way around that. All you can really do is hope that they aren’t anything serious and for the wrestlers to get back on their feet in a hurry. Hopefully that is the case with the latest big name to get banged up.
As announced on his Instagram, LAX member Santana has a stage two tear of his MCL, which is going to put him on the shelf for the time being. The injury occurred at a show on Sunday night in New York City during an Impact show called Code Red. At the moment, the injury is not a full tear and can be fixed up with rest, meaning that surgery is not necessary so far. There is no word on how long Santana will be out.
In case you’re not familiar. Check out Santana and LAX doing what they do best:
Opinion: Any time you can get away without needing surgery, things are looking up. That’s a big relief, as Santana and LAX are some of the most valuable members of the Impact Wrestling roster at the moment. They have been one of the best things about the company for a long time now and while it’s a shame that they are going to be out of action for a bit, it could have been much worse.
How good is LAX at the moment? Who do you want to see them face next? Let us know in the comments below.
