Another Name On The Show. WrestleMania 35 Host Named.

Welcome to the club. With its 34 editions over the years, WrestleMania has a tradition like no other wrestling show in the world. There are so many things that can be done on a show as big as WrestleMania and that includes a lot of things that need to be taken care of over the course of the night. With the wrestlers mostly busy, there is a need for someone to keep things in line. That role was filled on Monday.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Alexa Bliss was announced as the Host of WrestleMania 35. This is a role that has been used on and over over the years, with names such as Kim Kardashian, Hulk Hogan, the Rock and the New Day taking the spot in the past. Normally it means someone who opens the show and participates in a segment during the night. Bliss is currently inactive as a wrestler, having only wrestled in the Women’s Royal Rumble this year.

Opinion: If we just have to have Bliss around all night long, I guess I’ve heard of worse ideas. She’s a great talker and can get shown up by someone later in the show, which is all a heel host should do. I’m not sure why she isn’t wrestling at the moment, but this is a better spot for her than being one of a bunch of people in some multi-woman title match. Bliss should be great in this role and that makes her an awesome choice.
