With a gimmick and a caveat. Last week on “Smackdown Live”, Bray Wyatt issued a challenge to the new WWE Champion Randy Orton for a House of Horrors match. The rules for the match haven’t been established but it certainly sounds violent. However, something happened tonight that made things a bit more interesting.
Tonight on “Monday Night Raw”, Wyatt announced that the match would take place at “Payback 2017”. This becomes an issue as Wyatt also announced that he is now on “Monday Night Raw” yet will still challenge a “Smackdown Live” wrestler for the “Smackdown World Title” at what seems to be billed as a “Monday Night Raw” exclusive pay per view.
Opinion: I’m really not sure what to think of this one. While there’s a chance that they’ll change the titles around, I have a feeling it’s going to be a one off loss for Wyatt and then he’s done with “Smackdown Live” for good. Either way it’s kind of a confusing idea but maybe things will straighten out in the upcoming weeks.
