If you’re hoping that a Brock Lesnar title defense will be the main event of this month’s Payback pay-per-view, then you’re going to be severely disappointed with what you’re about to read.

As of right now, Brock Lesnar isn’t scheduled for the Payback show. Additionally, he isn’t being advertised for any of the shows leading up to this month’s pay-per-view. So the question now is: who will main event the show? And the answer won’t be much of a surprise.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman will be the main event of WWE Payback. Of course, there is a rumor going around which suggests that Reigns is going to be drafted to SmackDown on Monday, in which case, the match with Strowman will be off.

The Observer also noted that Strowman will be the next challenger for the Universal Championship, so it’s likely that he’ll defeat Reigns later this month. However, he likely won’t win the match clean, and you should expect some outside interference, possibly from AJ Styles, who is expected to be drafted to Raw.
