Ric Flair Kicked Out of Bar for Insulting Bartender

Oh Ric. If there’s one news story you can almost guarantee hearing at least once a year, it’s Ric Flair saying or doing something to embarrass himself. As a bonus, odds are there’s going to be alcohol involved. It’s that time of year again as Flair has managed to do something to get himself thrown out of an establishment.

According to Prowrestlingsheet.com, Flair was thrown out of the Deck at the Gas House bar in Fort Wayne, Indiana for calling the bartender a “fat***”. According to witnesses, Flair arrived, insulted the bartender, and was thrown out within five minutes. Neither Flair nor his representatives have had any comment on the issue.

Opinion: This comes off like someone who doesn’t understand how the world has changed. Back in Flair’s day, he could probably walk into any bar in the country, say anything he wanted, and still be treated like a king. Unfortunately, that’s not how thing work anymore, especially for someone who is only in the public eye for an occasional cameo. I feel sorry for Flair, but he needs to realize how things work now.
