Video: Maryse Defends Against Mickie James at ‘Night of Champions’ 2009

WWE uploaded a video to their official YouTube channel from ‘Night of Champions’ in 2009 where Maryse defended her Divas Championship against Mickie James.

As one may expect from an era where the women were known as ‘Divas,’ you won’t look at this match and see a five star classic. However, both performers are incredibly gifted. They were back in 2009 and they are still today.

For what it is worth, this match is entertaining. The video is approximately 10 minutes in length and it is well worth your time. There are several big spots throughout the match that stand out not only against other matches from the women at the time, but against even the rest of the card at ‘Night of Champions.’
