The PWI ‘Female 50’ Is Out, Who Topped the List?

Pro Wrestling Illustrated has announced the latest ‘Female 50’ in their magazine, which includes the rankings of several female wrestlers from around the world.

The evaluation period for the 10th annual ‘Female 50’ was from October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2017. The top ten specifically seem to mainly be comprised of WWE superstars.

The new threat on ‘Raw’ in Asuka topped the list with the reasons being her continued skill in the ring and holding the NXT Women’s Championship for the entire evaluation period.

Here are a list of the top ten:

• Asuka at 1
• Charlotte Flair at 2
• Alexa Bliss at 3
• Sasha Banks at 4
• Bayley at 5
• Io Shirai at 6
• Natalya at 7
• Sienna at 8
• Naomi at 9
• Kairi Sane at 10

It should be noted that this is the first PWI list to rank women from outside of the United States and Canada.
