It was confirmed during New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestling Dontaku event that Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega will pick back up their rivalry where they left off.
In the main event during the first day of Wrestling Dontaku, Okada retained his Championship against Hiroshi Tanahashi. After the match, Okada pondered who was left for him to face, before calling out Omega.
He claimed he went to a time limit draw with Omega the last time he was in Osaka (site of Dominion. He then continued by explaining that he has won once against ‘The Cleaner’ and lost once against him.
This led to Omega coming out and it was confirmed that the two will reprise their rivalry at Dominion on June 9 as the two men face in a two out of three falls match with no time limit.
