We reported after ‘NXT: TakeOver War Games’ that McIntyre suffered an injury towards the end of his match with Andrade Cien Almas, who would go on to become the new NXT Champion in McIntyre’s defeat.
Since that time, McIntyre has undergone surgery for a torn bicep and is already back at John Cena’s Hard Knocks gym training, complete with a large cast on his arm.
It is unknown at this time when McIntyre went under the knife, but he does appear to be recovering quick. In a video showcased by the gym on Twitter, McIntyre is shown doing squats.
The caption of the tweet read:
“First workout after surgery. Some people wait to heal. Others heal themselves.”
