The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided some backstage news on what fans can expect from the 205 Live shows in January.

We previously announced that WWE is intending on holding several 205 Live shows in January. The Observer has now confirmed that WWE plans to add another three shows in February and potentially past that if the events are profitable.

Nia Jax will be the special guest referee for the matches between Kalisto and WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore. Two other matches that appear to be running are Cedric Alexander vs. Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallagher vs. Rich Swann.

Hideo Itami is being advertised for the shows and will be pushed as the new star of the cruiserweight division. He is said to be becoming an anchor on the shows alongside Amore and the other regulars.

There has additionally been talk of having NXT wrestlers to perform on the undercard of the shows and potentially bringing in wrestlers for tryouts.

The current shows in January are taking place in Kingston, RI, Lowell, MA and Poughkeepsie, NY from 19-21 January respectively.

Tickets are expected to range from $100 ringside to $15 for the cheaper seats. They are available from Ticketmaster currently and available to the general public on Friday.

If you would like to know how Jax found herself on these shows as the special guest referee, you should definitely check out the video we’ve provided below.
