WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated the “Q&A” section of his personal website, featuring various wrestling-related discussions. Some of the highlights can be found below.
Ross was asked how many matches he expects the recently-debuted Sting to wrestling in WWE:
“He has indicated to me that he wold like to work just one match before he hangs it up. Plus, I see little value in the attraction that he is in trying to squeeze significant more fruit out of his 55 year old body which makes little sense.”
Someone inquired about his relationship with Vince McMahon, to which Ross notes he may cover some of which in his upcoming book.
“Not sure it’s anyone’s business if I do or don’t communicate with VKM but orur relationship is as it’s always been. I have mentioned on Twitter @JRsBBQ several times about my work on a book which I hope to finish by summer of ’15. Read my blogs here on the site for updates.”
Another asked about what his thoughts would be if The Undertaker had been given another gimmick in WWE, whether he would have had success or not:
“Lot’s of if’s in your question. Honestly, I don’t see how I could accurately answer your questions. Talents have to fit their gimmicks and none of the others could have been the Undertaker.”
He also gave his thoughts on whether WWE could afford to have an off-season to let talent rest up:
“There will be no off seasons IMO because contractually WWE must produce a certain amount of first run programming to fulfill their TV rights fee agreements. Happy that you enjoy my podcast.”

Editor’s Note
An off-season is sorely needed in wrestling, but as he mentioned, cannot be afforded due to big money deals.
