Former WWE Superstar CM Punk made an appearance Monday night on the red carpet of the AP Music Awards at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, one of his first mainstream public appearances since leaving the company the night after the “Royal Rumble” pay-per-view earlier in 2014.

Punk was interviewed by Chris Van Vilet of CBS 19 in Cleveland, where he spoke publicly about his post-wrestling life for the first time.

In the piece, Punk shows off his wedding ring, further confirming his recent wedding to WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee. Alongside, he was asked as to whether fans could ever expect him to step in a WWE ring again.

Punk sarcastically responded, while maintaining his tongue-in-cheek mantra:

“No, no. No. Never ever. Never, ever, ever. They’re going to go crazy on Twitter. They’re going to hold me to it.”

The entire interview can be found below.

Editor’s Note

For those who do not realize, Punk is trolling with his final response. Though he’s probably being truthful, he’s keeping it light-hearted.
