It looks like Ryback wants to be “fed more” of Kevin Owens.

Announced by Tom Phillips on the official WWE Facebook page prior to the Oct. 8 edition of “SmackDown,” Ryback has invoked his rematch clause to face Owens for the Intercontinental Championship at “Hell In A Cell.”

These two men have been battling back and forth over the past few weeks, including their first match at “Night of Champions,” which saw Owens cheat to get the pinfall over Ryback to gain his first championship since joining the main roster. During the match, Owens raked Ryback in the eyes, causing him to be disoriented as Owens rolled him up for the three count.

The feud between these two men is also personal, as Owens has insulted Ryback for his taking to the book “The Secret,” while also feeling that he is not a worthy champion. This has caused Ryback to fire back, claiming that Owens only cheats to win, and is not a real champion.

Will “The Big Guy” regain the championship that he covets so much, or will he once again be bested by “The Prize Fighter.”

Editor’s Note:

I am sure we all saw this coming. I have been a HUGE Owens mark for a long time, and I am loving the fact that they put the Intercontinental Title on him. I believe he is going to bring legitimacy back to this mid-card title-something it sorely needs. I also feel his run with the belt with help catapult him into the main event picture. Clearly, I expect Owens to retain, most likely cleanly, at “Hell In A Cell.”
