Sorry about your damn luck, TNA.

During the Oct. 8 “NXT” television taping, former TNA World Heavyweight Champion James Storm made his “NXT” debut, after weeks of speculation that he signed a WWE contract. Storm defeated Danny Burch with the “Eye of the Storm,” in a match that is currently scheduled to air during the Oct. 21 show. According to fans in attendance, Storm was playing the face role.

The official Twitter accounts of “NXT” and WWE COO Triple H, as well as WWE’s Instagram account, sent out the following about Storm’s debut:

There have been a lot of rumors over the past few weeks that Storm had signed with WWE, but no official word on the contract. Storm was apparently backstage at last night’s “NXT Takeover: Respect” event, but failed to make an appearance. In addition, Storm took to Twitter, making a tease that he was in fact coming to WWE soon:

Editor’s Note:

I’ll be honest, rarely do I watch TNA. The product had become so bad, I gave up on them a long time ago. However, from what I have watched online, Storm is the real deal and will make a great addition to NXT and WWE. I wonder who his first feud will be against.
