There are names in NXT that seem to be destined for greatness. Shinsuke Nakamura. Bobby Roode. Then there are those wrestlers whose future seems uncertain. Like Wesley Blake.
Blake had a wonderful heel run alongside Buddy Murphy as on half of the informally-named Dubstep Cowboys. The pair even had a reign as the NXT Tag Team Champions, with the help of Alexa Bliss as their valet.
Now Alexa has hit the main roster, the tag team has split, and both Blake and Murphy have been directionless on the NXT roster despite some solid wrestling acumen.
Some sudden messages of support on social media for Wesley Blake have fans now guessing at the would-be superstar’s future.
When told that @WWE was offering me a contract after my tryout, "Are you signing @TheWWEBlake?" was my first question. Hell of a guy/talent.

With a sudden outpouring of support from fellow wrestlers on NXT and SmackDown, fans–including this one–are wondering what’s next for Wesley Blake.
The fear is that a release is coming in Blake’s near future, and that would be a shame. There’s still potential for Blake, especially in NXT, which is still suffering from a lack of variety in its top talent.
For his part, Buddy Murphy is doing well–at least on personal level. He’s soon to be married to a fellow WWE star.
