AJ Styles took a long road to WWE, and even after his Royal Rumble debut it seemed that the company had him pegged as no more than a solid midcarder. But the Phenomenal One soon proved he was much more than that, and since moving to SmackDown he’s been the show’s very best performer.
The degree to which AJ has impressed WWE officials is clear, since his run as World Champion on SmackDown would have been unbelievable earlier this year. That’s discounting even the rumored for a match against the Undertaker at the Royal Rumble.
Now we’re hearing another set of rumors–attributed to boss of WWE himself.
A report from Wrestling News World says that Vince McMahon wants AJ Styles on Raw after WrestleMania. The word is that there would be a new draft after Mania 33, and that would see the Phenomenal One make the big switch to the red brand.
A shake-up in the roster opens a lot of possibilities for AJ, including–most tantalizing of all–a reason to reunite the Bullet Club with Anderson and Gallows. Finn Balor is expected to be back in ring shape by this time, and a resurgent Club with all four of those men is almost too exciting an idea to bear.
