We’re two weeks away from Hell in a Cell, and while we’ve got three major championship matches set to take place inside the structure, tonight’s Raw is all about a long-awaited return.

Yes, tonight is the night Goldberg walks onto WWE programming for the first time in over a decade. It’s all but assured that he’ll be issuing a Survivor Series challenge to Brock Lesnar, but we’re still not 100% sure what he’ll be doing in the meantime. Perhaps a few matches to spear low-tier competitors? (Poor Bo.)

Speaking of Survivor Series, SmackDown issued a challenge to Raw last week which would pit the top men, women, and tag teams from each brand against each other in traditional 5-on-5 elimination matches. How will Raw respond? (They’ll say yes, because that’s how wrestling works.) The real question is what the stakes will be heading into the matches, and rumors about the winning brand being able to pick up a few contracts from the opposition are incredibly interesting. (Please just put everyone I like on SmackDown.)
We’ve also got five championship matches set for Hell in a Cell, including a historic women’s match that might just be the main event of the whole thing. Sasha Banks versus Charlotte, Kevin Owens versus Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns versus Rusev are all set to take place inside Hell in a Cell, and you can expect all of these competitors to continue beating the crap out of each other in anticipation of the Halloween eve match-ups.
On top of that, we’ve got Cesaro and Sheamus continuing to try to get their heads in the game ahead of their title match versus the New Day, and the continuing adventures of the Cruiserwight division, which seems to finally be taking advantage of Raw’s roster of high-flying, under-utilized talent. Plus we’ve got a midcard to fill out! Bayley versus Dana Brooke seems like a lock for the pay-per-view, but what other battles will fill out this already packed card?
It all goes down tonight at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Catch on the USA Network live at 8PM Easter/7PM Central!
