This might be one of the strangest relationships in professional wrestling history.

According to social media, WWE superstar Paige took the opportunity to propose to her real-life boyfriend, Alberto Del Rio, at “WWC Aniversario 43” in Puerto Rico this evening.

No word on whether this is a publicity stunt, part of a wrestling angle, or a real-life proposal.

Both Paige and Del Rio have been surrounded in controversy for the past couple of months. They both violated the company’s wellness policy in August of this year, and Del Rio was released from his WWE contract on September 7.

Earlier this week, Paige was suspended for 60 days for violating the wellness policy a second time.

Rumors have been speculating for a long time that Paige is unhappy with her current position in WWE, and wants to be released from her contract. In addition, she has been battling a serious neck injury and may need surgery, but there is a rumor going around that WWE won’t be paying for it,

This is a bizarre story, and we will continue to monitor it and provide updates as they become available to us.
