Wrestling fans are the worst. I know. I am one. We’re awful.
When we’re not complaining about wins and losses, we’re complaining about too many surprises, or too few, or too much wrestling, or too little.
This, however, might be a new one. A fan took to Twitter to complain that Chris Jericho is too entertaining.
Okay, I might be paraphrasing. This fan wanted to know why WWE chose to “waste the list idea” on Jericho rather than giving it to a new, young star.
Jericho, of course, responded with typical grace–not even going for that cheap pop from saying “stupid idiot.”

WWE’s failure to push young talent is a major concern–or it was, about three or four years ago. Today WWE’s hottest stars are the likes of Kevin Owens, the former Shield members, AJ Styles, and an almost entirely new women’s division. AJ and Kev may push the definition of “young,” but they’re certainly fresh to WWE television.
There’s an argument to be made that part-time wrestlers like Goldberg, Lesnar, and Undertaker (and John Cena, to a lesser extent) take away from the potential star power of the guys main eventing house shows every single night. But Jericho? Jericho’s latest run has been a highlight of recent WWE. Y2J might be old, but he’s taking away nothing from the younger generation.
I mean, have you seen his win/loss record for 2016? Yeesh.
If you want to actually complain about something, complain about three hour Raws.
