Here’s What Happened After SmackDown Live Went Off the Air

205 Live broadcast on the WWE Network. The end.

Nah, just kidding. Well, 205 Live totally happened as usual, but there was also an untelevised match featuring some of SmackDown’s biggest stars there to send the crowd home happy.

The dark main event saw John Cena and Dean Ambrose take on Baron Corbin and AJ Styles in tag team action. You can see a big part of the match in the clip below.

The good guys–that is, Cena and Ambrose–got the victory, which is exactly what you’d expect from a contest like this.

All four men have big WrestleMania contests this Sunday. Dean Ambrose will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Baron Corbin. AJ Styles will be taking on Shane McMahon in a singles match. And John Cena will be teaming with Nikki Bella in mixed tag team action against the Miz and Maryse.

Popular speculation suggests that Cena will be proposing to Nikki following their WrestleMania match, and even the bookies are getting in on the action. Al Roker will serve as guest ring announcer, but no word on who’ll officiate the wedding.

Personally, I hope it’s the Miz.
