Historically, the Royal Rumble winner’s guaranteed title match has been the main event of WrestleMania. There are exceptions, sure, but it seemed certain that Bray Wyatt versus Randy Orton was a marquee match that would headline the show.

Until Goldberg and Brock Lesnar stepped in, of course. The true main event this Sunday remains to be seen, but I know the main event of my heart is for the WWE Championship.

Bray and Randy continued their lovably cheesy horror movie shenanigans on SmackDown tonight. After Wyatt defeated Luke Harper in SmackDown’s main event, Orton appeared on the titantron amid the burned out ruins of the Wyatt compound.

Then he said some magic stuff, and drove a stake into the remains of Sister Abigail, which I guess is supposed to negate the powers she transferred to Bray earlier? I dunno, I’m just looking forward to the match.

Bray and Randy previously main evented the SmackDown exclusive pay-per-view No Mercy in an okay match. Their bout only closed the show there because the triple threat between AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, and John Cena were pushed to the start to compete with the US presidential debate. (This was also the show that was absolutely stolen by the Miz versus Ziggler title versus career match.)

Are you looking forward to seeing Bray and Randy go at it one more time? Does it deserve main event status? Let us know what you think in the comments, or over on Facebook!
